Terms of Service

Effective July 6, 2026

Nexus is a procedural design tool operated under the name SynkitNET. By creating an account or using nexus.synkit.net or the Nexus plugins, you agree to these terms. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask at hello@synkit.net.

The service

Nexus is an editor for procedural graphics: built-in generators, AI authored custom generators, exports, cloud sync, community sharing, and plugins for Photoshop, Figma, and After Effects. Sign-in is by emailed magic link; keep access to your email secure, because anyone who controls it controls your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Nexus evolves quickly. Features may change, improve, or be retired, and we may update these terms as the product changes; material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.

Plans and credits

There is a free tier and paid subscriptions (billed monthly or annually through Stripe). Current pricing and what each plan includes are always shown at the point of purchase.

AI generation runs on credits. Credits are granted with your plan each billing period, have no cash value, are not transferable, and do not accumulate beyond what your plan states. A failed generation that we never delivered is not meant to cost you credits; if you believe credits were consumed wrongly, email us and we will make it right.

Free trial

How it works. The 7-day Creator trial requires a payment card and converts to a paid Creator monthly subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. Cancel any time during the trial from the billing portal and you will not be charged anything.

One per person. The trial is one per person, not one per email address and not one per card. Opening another account, or using a different email or a different card, to start a second trial breaches these terms. Where we find that has happened we may end the trial, cancel the subscription, and suspend the accounts involved, without a refund of any amount already charged.

Card screening. To keep the trial fair we also screen the card at the start: prepaid cards are not accepted, a card that has already backed a trial cannot start another, and the trial is unavailable in some regions. If screening fails, the trial subscription is canceled and nothing is charged. We may withdraw or change the trial offer at any time for new signups.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew after that. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you agree that the service starts immediately and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right ends once performance has begun; independent of that, if something went wrong with a charge, email hello@synkit.net and we will look at it case by case.

Your content

What you make is yours. You keep all rights to media you upload and to the designs and generators you create. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: storing your synced projects, running your generators, and rendering your work back to you.

If you publish a filter to the Community or share it by link, you grant us the right to display it (name, preview, generator definition) and other users the right to install and use it in their own work. Do not upload or publish content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights; we may remove content and suspend accounts that do.

Generated output

Custom generators are written by an AI model from your brief and run in a sandbox. Output quality is not guaranteed: some briefs produce something great on the first try, some need iteration, and some fail. Generated code and the images it produces are provided as-is, and you are responsible for reviewing them before relying on them commercially. To the extent we hold any rights in generated output produced for you, we assign them to you.

Acceptable use

Do not attack, probe, or overload the service outside the rules of our security policy; do not circumvent rate limits, entitlements, or trial screening; do not scrape the service at scale or resell it; do not use Nexus to produce or distribute unlawful content. The plugins are also subject to the marketplace terms of Adobe and Figma where you install them from.
